BB-8 is helping Isaac Partnership search for a new apprentice at Gloucestershire SkillsFest

March 10, 2016

We are thrilled to be attending Gloucestershire Skillsfest on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th March at The Growth Hub, Oxstalls Campus, University of Gloucestershire. Skillsfest is a free event for ambitious school leavers, students or for anyone just looking to explore exciting career options. It provides an insight into a fantastic range of career opportunities with the chance to test out some of your skills with have a go activities.

We will be there to answer your questions and to talk about a few of the projects that we have been working on, from developing websites and branding, to marketing strategies and PR. There is also a chance for you to have a go at web programming with our newest member of the team, BB-8. Show us your programming skills by directing BB-8 through a small maze without him getting stuck at a dead end. If you can manage to get him from one side of the maze to the other, then you might just be the person we are looking for.

BB-8 will be helping us in our search for an enthusiastic web programming/development apprentice to join our growing team. We are looking for a school or college leaver with strong maths skills, in particular algebra, who enjoys problem solving and puzzles. The ideal apprentice will be a logical thinker with an eye for detail, a knack for lateral thinking and able to work well in a team and by themselves. Any knowledge or experience in computing at GCSE or A-Level is a plus. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a keen interest in web programming to learn and develop new skills.

So come down, have a chat and see if you can get BB-8 through the maze. We look forward to seeing you there.
